Carter and his buddy Captain Cash were abandoned in the foothills. They are both very dog friendly. Carter is great with people as well, Capt. Cash is still pretty shy. Carter needs to get on an exercise and diet plan-- looks like his owners may have just left him tied out with lots of food and nothing to do.
My new foster mom say's I'm a "little pudgy" so I am trying to get back to my sleek and active weight. I love to play - both with other dogs and people. I love water and would like a family with a pool. But i will take a family without one also. I am told I am a sweet heart because I love everyone. I encountered a horse "probably my first" and she was hugh! I HAD to bark at her but I soon settled down.
Ritzy Rescue and Posh Puppy are programs created by CVRR to feature Purebred and Designer dogs. Many of our purebreds are rescued from local puppy mills; some are surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. Designer dogs (blended breeds of highly desirable breeds) are sometimes found in local kill shelters, surrendered to us by backyard breeders and occasionally just dumped off near our foster homes.
All of our Ritzy and Posh dogs are in need of loving, nurturing homes. Many of them come to us with a serious lack of socialization, malnourished, unvaccinated and desperately in need of grooming and dental care. We place them in foster homes, attend to their physical and emotional needs and begin the process of finding suitable forever homes.
