Hi there! I'm Rusty, I am on a quest to find my forever home and a family I can call my own. My perfect home would include children and other dogs to play with. I currently live with cats. They don't want to play with me, but I like them. Being outdoors is okay, but I would love to be an indoor dog because my favorite thing is being with people.
I also like going on car rides; I sit patiently in my seat until we get to where we are going. Sometimes, we open the window, and I love to feel the wind in my fur. I also love running and playing with other dogs and humans; I am gentle, even with smaller dogs. But the best part of any day? It's relaxing on the couch with my human friends. There's nothing more comforting than being surrounded by people and getting some cuddles. I'm proud to say I'm crate-trained and a pro at using the doggy door when I need to go potty. I dream of finding a family that enjoys playful days and cozy nights as much as I do. Ritzy Rescue and Posh Puppy are programs created by CVRR to feature Purebred and Designer dogs. Many of our purebreds are rescued from local puppy mills; some are surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. All of our Ritzy and Posh dogs are in need of loving, nurturing homes. Many of them come to us with a serious lack of socialization, malnourished, unvaccinated and desperately in need of grooming and dental care. We place them in foster homes, attend to their physical and emotional needs and begin the process of finding suitable forever homes. If you are interested in providing a loving home for a Ritzy Rescue or Posh Puppy you must complete an online application at www.cvrr.us We are only able to respond to interested parties who have completed applications online. Thank you.
Many of our dogs can be seen at Petsmart in Visalia select Saturdays between 10 and 2.
