Gusteaux had a very close call! He was searching for food in front of a little store when the store owner came out and tried to chase him off ...shooing him across the street!  The owner thought this little dog would be bad for business. Fortuately one of our volunteers saw the whole thing happen and grabbed little Gusteaux just before he could run into traffic.  Now Gusteaux is safe in a foster home, playing with the other foster dogs and basically enjoying a happy life. 

Gusteaux gets along with all the dogs and he likes cats.  He has nice house manners and is a polite little gentleman who enjoys snuggling with his foster parents and lots of belly rubs.  He is what we call a "non-issue" dog:  one that would be excellent in any home and would be happy to have other doggy "siblings" or be an only doggy.  If you're looking for an excellent doggy companion, Gusteaux is the right dog for you!
