Nyxie's story is unfortunately classic. We were told that her family moved and didn't want to pay shelter fees so they just turned her loose. She spent the next 2 weeks visiting a foothill school off and on. We finally were able to step in and take her. One of the teachers saw her on the ground and thought she had passed away- but she was just taking a big nap. So we named her after Nyx- the goddess of sleep!      She is a wonderful young dog- she has no formal training, but walks well on a leash- rarely barks and is very gentls.
